Horses by nature are prey animals, and their entire existence is contingent upon the survival instincts infused in their DNA .Horses rely on their inherent sense of intuition, environmental acuity, and energetic interpretation to negotiate what’s constantly going on around them. Their most consistent form of stimuli is energy and body language, whether it’s coming from one another or other living creatures on their periphery. Horses communicate nonverbally and yet amazingly there is always a succinct and finite manner of how things are executed in their herd dynamic. We as human beings too, almost entirely communicate nonverbally. Astonishingly, only 10 percent of what we say is spoken in words……That’s right….90 percent of how we interact with each other is through body language and energy…. NONVERBAL COMMINICATION….. This is why horses can be so effective in helping us understand ourselves. We truly have so many parallels with these amazing, phenomenal, magnificent and powerful creatures. Horses can size us up with a single glance with unnerving precision and incredible accuracy. Horses mirror back our body language and convey to us what our energies are telling them. Because horses have a nonjudgmental nature, and they have no psychological agenda with us, it’s often easier to accept the horse’s assessment of us as opposed to another human being’s assessments. Therefore, horses help us to expedite the process of self-awareness…they demand our authenticity, and there is no fooling them. Horses make you accountable for your actions and feelings. By listening and interpreting to what the horses are saying to you will undoubtedly help you to view yourself at a new level of realization. This will provide you with clarity and answers to lead you to a better understanding of yourself, human nature, and gain insight as to who we intrinsically are... When we comprehensively understand ourselves and others, we can genuinely live our lives with more compassion, connection and positivity.
